Heyyy👋🏾

I am Brittany Caldwell, founder, and CEO of BCtheNP, LLC and Glow.
My name is Brittany Caldwell, but many know me as “BCtheNP.” I’m a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in the medical field. Helping others, especially those who feel like all hope is lost, is not just my passion—it’s my purpose. Over the years, I’ve been affectionately called “Boss Lady,” a nod to my leadership abilities and the balance I’ve maintained between managerial and medical roles throughout my career.
MY STORY
I was born and raised in Chester, SC, the youngest of three children. My journey began with a solid foundation in my hometown and at Chester Senior High School, where I graduated in 2004. I went on to the University of South Carolina in Columbia, earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. After graduation, I started my nursing career as a Women’s Medical-Surgical nurse at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC.
Working as an RN taught me a lot, but it also made me keenly aware of the limitations within the role. In 2011, with a newborn in tow, I took a leap of faith and returned to school to chase my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. Balancing new motherhood and grad school wasn’t easy, but in 2013, I proudly graduated from Duke University as Cum Laude with my Master’s in Nursing. Shortly after, I became board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
While I’ve achieved many professional milestones, my greatest joy comes from being a mother to my two incredible sons, Ja’Kayden and Caleb. They are my daily inspiration and motivation to keep pushing forward.
In 2020, during the pandemic, I founded the “BCtheNP” brand, officially trademarked in 2024. As someone who has personally struggled with weight, I felt a deep calling to help others achieve sustainable weight loss—a task that is as emotional as it is physical. My entrepreneurial journey started humbly, providing concierge healthcare services from my car during the height of COVID. Those early efforts turned “BCtheNP” into a trusted name across North and South Carolina, laying the groundwork for my ultimate dream: opening my own weight loss practice.
By 2021, I partnered with a local medical office, providing primary care services for their female patients while building my own weight-loss patient panel. Through hard work, I served over 100 patients, helping them achieve transformative results. In October 2022, I opened my first one-room office space, which felt like a monumental achievement. Soon, word spread, and patients from across the country began seeking my services. This demand expanded my practice into telehealth, allowing for new revenue streams and growth.
Through every step of this journey, I’ve leaned on faith and a higher power that has guided me. I know that my calling is far from over, and I remain committed to walking in obedience and abundance. My mission is to inspire, heal, and help others bloom into their best selves. This is just the beginning—let’s keep soaring!
